- Failure to do so could affect the joint

Debur
- Gently debur the inside and outside of the pipe.
- Protect the pipe from deformation by aggressive deburring.
- Ensure the pipe is smooth for good flow.
03
Clean
- Remove all grit, dirt, and residue from the pipe.
- This ensures the integrity of the o-ring.
04
Mark
- Mark the insertion depth on the pipe.
- An insertion depth gauge can be used for this step.
05
Fit
- Ensure the fitting is clean, the o-ring is in place.
- Place the pipe firmly inside the fitting until it hits the pipe stop.
06
Press
- Select the correct size V profile jaw for the fitting.
- Ensure the jaw is placed squarely on the fitting.
- The press is complete when the jaw is fully closed.
07
Check
- Remove the jaw and check that the fitting is aligned with the mark.
- The press indicator will fall off a correctly pressed fitting.
